An opportunity to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds who work across the Third Sector, from individuals who have been freelancing for years to those who are thinking about making the leap, whatever stage you are at in your Not9to5 career come along, we are a friendly bunch.
For our final event of the year we have a guest speaker: Beth Upton who will share her story with you of making the leap into a Not9to5 life, the challenges she has faced and lessons she has learnt.
Beth is the founder of Money Tree Fundraising, a company that helps charities to kick start their high value fundraising. She didn't mean to start a company and would love to say she's never looked back but that's not true! In the last six years Beth has been named a top 25 fundraiser aged under 35 by her peers and her company has been named Best Strategic/Fundraising Consultancy by the Institute of Fundraising. Right now Money Tree Fundraising manage circa 20 clients at any one time and is run by Beth and one other full-time person, alongside a team of associate fundraisers, all of whom have also made the leap into the not 9to5.
After hearing Beth's story there will be plenty of time to make connections with those in attendance, learn more about Not9to5 & what we are trying to achieve, all whilst getting in the festive spirit with some mince pies and a glass of wine.
